May Operation ; YourMove Nation; Scootingnation and Walkingnation; We will join in with National Walk to School Week! and try to get as many as possible walking for the whole month of May.
And it's SUMMER...we are practicing withe the First Communion class our new song "Our Lady of the WildAREness", we wrote it ourselves and it sounds great. We sang it when we blessed our Forest Are the day we planted the Orchard on National Tree week and filmed it then but due to a technical hitch, the film is unreadable so we hope to do it again, in costume this time; i.e. in Holy Communion regalia!
A thought as you walk on Wednesdays!

“Happiness is available. Please help yourself.”
Herb week is coming up; it's 21st - 28th in 2016. We are very grateful to John Mather, Herbalist who has been very helpful with his advice on our projects. Look at his wonderful garden here. He is helping schools to plant herbs, including our new neighbours in the Community Garden, St. Michael's house who are making a sensory garden for the visually impaired.

International Biodiversity Day is coming along on May 22nd; read all about it here. The 2016 is Mainstreaming Biodiversity; by bringing our tiny forests into schools we can work on this, it is often easier than bringing the children to the forests...and cheaper!
