Evergreen Tree – Ana This year children from our school were were asked by An Taisce to tell all the other schools in our county what we do at the Green Flag Awards.
Eared Willow – Leia We found out what were the 28 Native Trees of Ireland and then we planted tiny forests in our school…we decided the easiest way to show other children how to do the same was to ask for help from the Tree Council of Ireland because not even our teachers knew the names of all of our trees.
Hawthorn – Sarah Then we made a film with them; now every child in Ireland can pick a tree they like and plant it
All – Oh no they won’t
All Oh yes they will! It’s Easy Treesy

Evergreen Tree; Giulia And of course trees look great and they are homes for biodiversity. Some Trees are Evergreen.
Scots Pine Hannah The Scots Pine is evergreen though it once died out in Ireland because of icy weather, it’s back now things have warmed up. We’re all planting trees to stop things getting too warm and wet and windy around here
