We are celebrating the Award of our FIFTH INTERNATIONAL GREEN FLAG FOR BIODIVERSITY 2017!
We have won some big prizes with our videos. Enjoy them! We are currently making one for the Sustainable Energy Ireland competition, "One Good Idea", entitled of course "Follow the First Class Foresters" and since we recently bought a sturdy case for our ipad the children will be doing all the filming themselves. Who knows what is coming.
Many of the teachers go to the Bloom exhibition to study the Green School gardening stands shown above.
Dale Treadwell has recommended the link for Heritage in Schools which has some films you may enjoy. Thanks, Dale!
The National University of Ireland, Galway, awarded us a digital badge for this work, the details are below.
Follow the First Class Recyclers won the National Repak Award; it was fun to make. And of course it was great to win an ipad so we can record things at the drop of a hat. Like the day the fox was in the garden outside our window! Caught on camera!!! (Where did I put that picture though?)
Here is a film with the song we wrote...Our Green Code Song. We are working on a new verse!
